Hi, I’m Andy, an artist and writer based in Singapore. After a varied career in science, communication, management and consulting, I recently abandoned formal employment and embarked on a new journey in Surface Design. This newsletter is where I plan to share this journey with you.

reFocused is likely to evolve over time, but you can expect to read about pattern design and the thinking behind some of my patterns, as well as the daily experience of someone who did not ‘retire early’, but ‘refocused’ his creativity.
